Antonio Oburu Ondó ('Nsok Nsomo', in mainland Equatorial Guinea, 'May 20, 1974') is an economist and businessman. Since May 2015 (Decree No. 41/2015, dated May 27), he has been the CEO of one of Equatorial Guinea's leading companies, Gepetrol. Antonio Oburu Ondó is the son of a prominent Guinean military officer, who later worked as a lawyer and pastor until his death in December 2011 as a result of a stroke following a traffic accident. He grew up in a large family of 15 siblings in the city of Bata, under the tutelage and ever-present guidance of his father, who instilled in him a constant desire for self-improvement and iron discipline, both in his family life and at school in his early years. 1974 - Begins his higher education studies at ITU (University Technical Engineering) and begins his economics studies at the National University of Equatorial Guinea in Malabo (UNGE). After receiving a scholarship, he completed his bachelor's degree at the University of the Basque Country, in the Faculty of Economics and Business. During this period of training, he discovered his interest, almost like a hobby, in the stock markets, making his first appearances in the stock market. This is also when he immersed himself fully in new technologies and dedicated himself to developing specialized websites. After completing his degree in Spain, he continued his postgraduate studies at the prestigious College of Petroleum and Energy Studies at the University of Oxford, specializing primarily in marketing and trade in the oil and gas industry.
