Bonnie

Bonnie is a results-driven visionary leader in the energy sector with over twenty years of international experience at the leading edge of the energy market transformation. With her passion for innovation and commitment to the energy transition, Bonnie has become a prominent figure in the industry known for her dedication to driving positive change. Bonnie joined RESMAN Energy Technology in 2023 as the first female CEO in company’s history, steering it through a rapid period of growth. Today, RESMAN is a global leader in cutting-edge tracing technologies with the lowest detection limits, largest market share, the most scientific papers, and the highest number of patents in the industry.

Under Bonnie’s leadership, RESMAN made a significant transformation by establishing a New Energy division which drove groundbreaking innovations in CCUS and geothermal energy, resulting in 10 patent submissions in 2023 alone. Bonnie's leadership earned RESMAN recognition as a finalist for Carbon Capture Canada’s “Innovation in CCUS Technology” award and a finalist for the REUTERS Global Energy Transition Awards for R&D achievements in tracer monitoring within CCUS reservoirs. Bonnie was also a finalist in the “The People of Purpose: Woman” category at the REUTERS Global Energy Transition Awards.

As the world transitions to a low-carbon future, CCUS is essential for the energy transition. Since 2007, RESMAN has led the field by employing advanced tracer technology to enhance CCUS effectiveness. This technology is well-received by operators world-wide in offshore and onshore CCUS projects. It provides vital insights into reservoir communication and CO2 behavior, allowing for an accurate assessment of the flow behavior in the reservoir and the associated storage volume of the injected CO2. Without tracers, accurately determining the physical communication between injectors and producers would be challenging, as injected CO2 cannot be differentiated from naturally occurring CO2. Bonnie’s strong expertise in this field, combined with RESMAN’s innovative tracer technology solutions, are crucial in advancing carbon capture projects worldwide.

Prior to joining RESMAN, Bonnie held senior positions with SLB internationally in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and the United States. Her previous roles span Operations Manager, VP of Integrated Project Management for the Eastern Hemisphere, VP of Operations and Planning, Global Technology Portfolio Manager, and Regional Manager, among others. Bonnie has a proven track record in global operations management and strategy, driving technology innovation and leading large multinational teams through transformative periods. As an organizational change agent, Bonnie lead complex organizational restructuring projects and spearheaded numerous strategic change initiatives. Bonnie holds the Masters of Science (MS) in Management for the Oil & Gas Industry from the Heriot-Watt University, UK, and the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) from the Colorado School of Mines, U.S.
