Ediz Eren is the Vice President for Rockwell Automation (META) and leads a diverse team of market enablers and solution providers across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa(META) geography, collaborating with teams across Europe, and the Americas. He brings 20 years of experience in industrial automation, enabling the application of AI and smart technology to drive operational excellence and resource optimization for customers across the energy, critical infrastructure, mining and manufacturing sectors. As part of his strategic outlook for the META region, Ediz and his team are on a mission to strengthen connections with customers, address emerging business challenges, and accelerate digital transformation. A key part of this mission involves embracing data intelligence to drive sustainable business outcomes, and reskilling and upskilling workforces with AI and smart technology, ensuring they are equipped for the future, particularly in the context of the energy transition. He joined Rockwell in 2011 as an end user account manager. In 2015, Ediz moved into the services & solutions country manager role, where he successfully delivered growth across key segments while helping to build Rockwell’s services business in the Turkish market. Most recently, since 2018, he was country sales director, Türkiye, where he successfully developed Rockwell’s market outreach organization. Ediz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and an Executive MBA from Sabanci University.
