He joined Hitachi Energy’s predecessor in 1998 and has held several significant management positions in the UAE and Middle East region. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Solid State (Electronics) from the American University in Cairo, Egypt and an MBA in Finance from Southeastern University Washington DC, USA and a Doctorate in International Business from Atlantic International University, USA.

Dr. Mostafa was ranked 12 amongst the most influential leaders of the GCC Utilities Industry for 2018. He has led the Hitachi Energy business with a key focus on strengthening relationships with key customers in the utility, industry, transportation, and infrastructure sectors and delivering as the partner of choice for stronger, smarter, and greener grids. With excellent networking skills, this native Arabic speaker believes in delivering the highest standards of customer service.

Dr. Mostafa was awarded top 30th regional executives heading global companies by the Forbes Middle East magazine in 2019.
