Mayar Tarek is a senior Gas and Petrochemicals Engineering student at Alexandria University, Egypt, with a passion for innovation and leadership in the energy industry. Mayar is an active researcher who published her first research paper in OnePetro with SPE in GOTECH 2024. Actively involved with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 2019, she has held various leadership positions, including Public Representative of the SPE American University in Cairo Student Chapter. She has also contributed significantly as a member of the Events Committee in the SPE Alexandria University Student Chapter and is recognized as the youngest member of the SPE Egypt Young Professionals Team. Mayar is dedicated to advancing the industry and has been a host at the Petroleum Arabian Conference and Exhibition since 2019, showcasing her ability to engage and inspire audiences.
