Michaela Fraubaum is working as a department manager in the field of Circular Economy Innovation at OMV. She studied Chemical Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and completed her doctorate in the same subject. After graduating, Ms. Fraubaum engaged in industry-oriented research concerning the implementation of renewable energy sources into industrial processes before moving to the private sector. For several years, Ms. Fraubaum worked on the process development and optimization of polyolefin production plants at a large petrochemical company. She joined OMV in 2019. With her Team she works on the development and implementation of chemical recycling in OMV, concentrating on end-of-life plastics feedstock technical development and feedstock pre-treatment technologies.
