Mohamed M. Al Naggar, PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cairo University in 2017, specializes in the production of biodiesel from locally available spent vegetable oils. He also holds a Master's degree in chemical engineering from Cairo University in 2008, focusing on the comparison of emissions from gasoline and natural gas converted cars. In addition, he obtained a Management Engineering Diploma from Cairo University in 2003 and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Cairo University in 2001. With extensive experience in CNG, hydrogen, biodiesel, biofuel, and other renewable energy sources, he has a strong track record of optimizing workflow and production efficiency. He is also certified in project management from Manchester University UK in 2024 and completed training with BP in the United Kingdom and Egypt from March to September 2023. A speaker at EGYPS 2023 Technical Conference, Presentation Title: Prototype of HCNG as Vehicles fuel. • A speaker at EGYPS 2020 Technical Conference, Presentation Title: Financial Model of the traditional method and the ultrasonic method in Biodiesel Production from Waste Cooking Oil in Egypt. A speaker at EGYPS 2019 Technical Conference, Presentation Title - Cost Analysis for Biodiesel Production from Waste Cooking Oil Plant in Egypt. • Research Paper: “Production of Biodiesel from Locally Available Spent Vegetable Oils”. Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development 2017. He previously served as a Conversion Engineer at Natural Gas Vehicles Co. (Car Gas) before transitioning to his current role as the Material Control & Warehouse General Manager at the same company. His expertise lies in the field of lab Sono-chemistry Applications, specifically utilizing Ultrasonic techniques for the production of Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (biodiesel) from Waste Vegetable oil through Transesterification Reaction. His experience includes the application of ultrasonic techniques for degassing crude oil, enhancing gasoline properties by mixing additives to increase its Octane Number, and improving asphalt characteristics by blending with kerosene. Additionally, he holds the positions of Quality and Environmental Management System Internal Auditor and Internal Trainer for Quality and Environmental Management System.
