Muhammad Sallehuddin, holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University Technology Malaysia, Skudai Johor. He is a member of Institute Chemical Engineering (IChemE) and a member of Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM). His areas of expertise include Process Engineering, Plant Operation, Commissioning, Process Optimisation, Reliability and Energy with a focus in the oil and gas industry.
Muhammad Sallehuddin has been with PETRONAS with more than 24 years. He started his career as Production Shift Engineer in PETCHEM Plant in Kertih before assumed a role of Process Engineer and later as Process Reliability Engineer. In 2009, he moved to Group Technology Solution (GTS) in Kuala Lumpur as Energy and Loss Manager before being appointed as Senior Manager Optimisation covering Advance Process Control and Process Simulation and Optimisation.
In 2020 he was promoted to General Manager of Process Engineering in GTS, focusing on Process Engineering Upstream, Flow Assurance and Sand Solution, Process Control and Optimisation, Gas and LNG, Refinery, PETCHEM, Process Design, Analytical Technology and Water technology. He is also Deputy Skill Group Advisor (Downstream) for SKG 16 (OPERATION & PROCESS) for technical staff capability development.
