Andrew Tait is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Fertiglobe, the largest nitrogen fertilizer exporter in the world and a recognized early mover in low carbon. Listed on ADX, ADNOC intends to shortly acquire a controlling stake in the company as its low carbon ammonia growth platform. With a finance career in the Middle East spanning over 20 years, Andrew has held numerous senior roles in Shell, including a pivotal role as the first CFO of Basrah Gas Company in Iraq, helping to establish the country’s largest public-private venture. He also served as Deputy CFO of PDO, Oman, and was involved in the development and financing of various major projects in the region. Alongside a 22-year career in Shell, he has held positions in ADNOC and EY, London. Andrew’s recognized expertise lies in the start-up and restructuring of companies, the gas and hydrogen sectors, major projects, and the optimization of efficiencies through digital solutions.
