Director, Corporate Finance and Treasury
Masdar
Bruce is the Director of Corporate Finance and Treasury at Masdar, overseeing the company’s structured financing activities globally and leading its corporate finance function, including the establishment of its green MTN program in 2023. Bruce joined Masdar in August 2020 after spending six years as a senior member of Mubadala’s Structured Finance and Capital Markets team. He has over 20 years’ experience in advising on and structuring the financing of infrastructure projects, primarily in the renewables sector. His accomplishments at Masdar include raising its first green RCF in 2018, long term credit ratings from Fitch and Moody’s in 2021, publication of Masdar’s Green Finance Framework in 2023, green bond issuances of USD 750 million and USD 1 billion in 2023 and 2024 respectively, and overseeing multiple award-winning project financings totaling over USD 4 billion. Bruce holds an MA in Business and Management from the University of Glasgow (2004) and both a Graduate Diploma in Law and an LLM from the University of Law (2022).
