Aaesha K. Al Keebali- CCUS Commercial Manager under Low Carbon Solutions & International Growth Directorate. She is responsible for establishing the integrated ADNOC CCUS/CCS Master plan, focused on driving the ADNOC CCUS program in line with the ADNOC Sustainability  Strategy and UAE’s decarbonization ambitions.

Aaesha plays a key role in ensuring the deployment of  Carbon, Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technology across ADNOC Group operations. As such she is heavily involved in the operations of ADNOC’s Al Reyadah, the world’s first fully commercial CCUS facility to capture CO2 from the iron and steel industry, and the first fully commercial CCUS facility in the Middle East region.

In addition, Aaesha is one of the business leads on the development of hybrid CCUS and clean energy technologies, including projects to develop low carbon Ammonia and Blue Hydrogen value chains, which are key elements of ADNOC’s Sustainability strategy. She contributed  into the 1st low carbon ammonia shipment from UAE to external offtakers.

Also, she initiated CO2 Storage assessment and managed ‘’1st CO2 Sequestration project in Carbonate world wide’’ to meet UAE and ADNOC’s net-zero ambition which will enable the creation of low-carbon ammonia to help meet global energy needs.

An active thought leader in CCUS across the industry, Aaesha has presented at numerous international forums including Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Conferences, Global CCS Institute webinars, and most recently she appointed to be the co-chair of  the ‘’ Energy transition and decarbonisation’’ Committee during ADIPEC 2023, 2024 and IPTC 2024.
