Nawied Jabarkhyl is Head of International Media Relations at APCO, based in Dubai. He specializes in media as a journalist, broadcaster and news presenter, having spent 12 years working at some of the world’s largest news organizations in the UK, Middle East and Asia. In his current role, he advises government, corporate clients and senior executives on strategies to maximize media relations and impact. Prior to joining APCO, Nawied was a News Anchor & Correspondent at global news network CGTN, in London. He was Reuters’ TV Correspondent in the Middle East and UK and spent time as a Producer at CNN International in Abu Dhabi and Senior Reporter & Presenter at Gulf News Broadcasting. Having covered major events, Nawied has reported on wars in Ukraine and Afghanistan; the World Economic Forum in Davos; COP climate summits; and was given exclusive access inside Saudi oil giant Aramco ahead of its IPO.
