Prasad Narayan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of P&O Maritime Logistics, a fully-owned subsidiary of DP World, where he oversees the strategic direction and operational management of the company. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Prasad served as the Chief Financial Officer of P&O Maritime Logistics from 2013 to 2024. In this capacity, Prasad was overseeing the finance, IT, procurement, and legal functions. His strategic financial leadership was crucial in maintaining the company's robust financial health and supporting its long-term objectives. In addition to his role at P&O Maritime Logistics, Prasad will continue to serve as the Group Chief Financial Officer of the DP World Marine Services division. In this position, Prasad leads the financial operations of the division, contributing significantly to its operational efficiency and financial stability. DP World Marine Services plays a vital role within DP World's end-to-end strategy, offering a range of maritime services that support the company's global logistics operations. From 2009 to 2013, Prasad was the Vice President of Internal Audit at DP World. Directly reporting to the Audit Committee of the DP World Board, he led the internal audit and risk management functions, enhancing audit processes and implementing effective risk management strategies across the Group. Prior to joining DP World, Prasad was the Chief Financial Officer at Salalah Port Services Co. (SAOG) from 2004 to 2009. At Salalah Port Services, which is managed by APM Terminals and listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange, Prasad managed key relationships with the government, board members, and financial sectors in Oman. He also ensured corporate compliance with regulations and financial standards, developed financial and business strategies, implemented industry best practices, and directed the controllership of accounting, budgeting, reporting, and management of legal and secretarial functions. Prasad is a Chartered Accountant, bringing a wealth of financial expertise and strategic leadership to his roles. His extensive experience across various aspects of financial management and corporate governance has been instrumental in driving the success of the organisations he had served.
